Our first night in Pittsburgh this past week was welcomed with hot chocolate at Ritter's diner. I didn't want to eat anything greasy (it was past 11 pm) so I ordered hot chocolate (some may have thought I was crazy)
We made the short stop fun by inserting a few quarters to play some oldies while sippin' on hot chocolate. My favorite choice that night was a hit by the Beatles.
After out experience with said Diner, we found a Wholefoods just about 3 blocks from where we were staying! You bet I was thanking the skies after seeing the oily bacon strips and fries drenched in oil that have no business going into my body!
We visited the Pittsburgh zoo later that day, and were greeted by this wholesome ice cream stand right around the corner from the zoo. Yes, of course we had to try it! We still prefer Dreyer's ice cream.

On our way out we saw this baby deer trying to find her way back home
