The Beauty Post Part I

Photobucket

I've been meaning to do a beauty post for the longest time and finally got around taking a picture of some of the products I have been using lately. A lot of these products ended up in my possession after recommendations from friends and some as gifts that I fell in love with and have continued using since I was introduced to them.

From left to right:
Sea wool sponge,
John Master Organics Zine & Sage Shampoo, Sonicare Toothbrush, Sisley Phyto Blanc Whitening Cleansing Milk, Sisley Gentle Facial Buffing Cream, Lavender Salt Scrub from Trader Joe's, Desert Essense Jojoba Oil, Avalon Organics Rosemary Bath & Shower Gel, Toms of Maine toothpaste, Toe the Line Footscrub

Sea wool sponge
What I love about this sponge is how little bodywash I put on it and it foams up an insane amount! A girlfriend of mine used to work for Lather in Pasadena and got it for me as a gift. I use it 2-3 times a week.

John Master Organics Zine & Sage Shampoo
I was using Trader Joe's shampoo until I finished it sometime last week- well, it must have been fate! I noticed that my hair was feeling a bit dry so I went to our local market and picked up this shampoo. I've only used it about 3 times to date and so far, so good. I purchased it on sale for less than what it costs on the official site.

Sonicare Toothbrush
Hands down for the best toothbrush ever. I am a fan of both this toothbrush and the Clarisonic face brush (not pictured) which I use every night. I started using the kids' size toothbrush since my dentist recommended it. We got our brushes from Costco for about $100 for 2 and it comes with an electronic brush cleanser.

Sisley Phyto Blanc Cleansing Milk
I got a set of Sisley products as a Christmas gift- so far I don't have any complaints about the product other than the prices. I've read a lot of good things about the line and am happy with the products for the most part. I highly recommend asking department stores for samples before making a Sisley purchase, to be sure that you like it. Amazon seems to have the best prices but department stores offer nice bundles during Mother's Day and Christmas.

Sisley Botanical Gentle Facial Buffing Cream
I use this buffing cream once a week to buff out as much as I possibly can from...being alive.

Trader Joe's Lavender Salk Scrub
Love using this super oily scrub after I wax to sooth my skin. Smells great.

Desert Essene Jojoba Oil
Was told a million great things about this oil- I try to use it as much as I can stand. You can read more about its benefits here.

Avalon Organics Lavender Shower Gel
Just finished using my Trader Joe's bodywash and got this on sale at my local market for $5. It should last me about 6 months.

Tom's of Maine Simply White Fluoride Toothpaste

I like to keep a toothpaste in the shower and one on the bathroom sink. Brush, brush, brush!

Shea It Isn't So Shea Spa Size Foot Cream
My feet thank me every time that I pamper them with this scrub, after a long day's wear of shoes! Bath and Body works always has sales and also some outlets out here in SoCal- always be on the lookout for sales during sales season! (After Xmas, especially!)
