Visited LACMA for the first time in years this past week with my friend. Their Fashioning Fashion: European Dress in Detail, 1700-1915 exhibit was beyond exquisite. This exhibit runs until March of this year.
This dress is estimated to be from the mid 1800s from Portugal. The silk satin and copper thread embroidery was absolutely astounding.
